Can Samarth’s care plans be customized?
While all plans come with the same promise of trust and quality, the focus and intensity of support can be customized entirely around the family’s needs.
What is covered in the cost of a subscription?
Care-counselor visits (number and duration as specified in each plan) and coordination from Samarth for all the mentioned services included in the plan are covered in the cost of the subscription. Additional visits (charged specified in each plan), if needed, and third-party expenses (e.g. medicines, tickets, payments to doctors, nurses, and attendants) are extra and charged on actuals.
My parents are covered by CGHS or a company health plan. Do you help accessing medical support through these?
Many of our clients have coverage under various insurance plans or in government plans which require several steps for getting prescriptions, approvals, and consultations. We help facilitate these and if required our team can obtain documents or accompany the parent for these visits.
I do not need all the services, can I subscribe to a plan partially?
Samarth Care is a comprehensive care program, which promises to be your support for any situation, anticipated or unanticipated that may come up. Given the breadth of our services and almost unlimited scope, a single family is not likely to require all the services all the time. Our pricing is also based on this principle. However, the breadth ensures that whenever needed, we will be able to take care of anything that is needed.
Can I ask for more visits than what is included in the plan?
Yes, extra visits can be organized based on requirements. If the needs are anticipated or regular, then they can be planned in advance. There are situations where, an incident, medical or otherwise, requires an extra visit, these are done on an ad-hoc basis and billed at the end of the month.
Do you care for elderly with dementia?
Yes, we do support elderly who are in different stages of dementia and related conditions. Our team is sensitised in dealing with such cases. If needed, we can bring in specialists who can help the elderly and the family.
Can you help in relocating to a senior living facility?
If it becomes imperative for the elderly to relocate to an assisted or senior living facility, we can help the family evaluate and select living options. We do not have a facility of our own, but do track and review available options for our clients. In many cases we continue to support the family as their advocate and extended arm when the elderly is relocated to a senior living facility.
