For us, Punam ji is the face of Samarth, as we were not there during the toughest time for our parents, she stood by them like a rock taking care of them, when my father passed away, she was emotionally disturbed but was there for Mumma. Our expert care is available in major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Gurgaon, and Kerala. Whether you’re in Hyderabad, Pune, or any other city in India, Samarth ensures high‑quality care for seniors wherever they are.
How does Samarth ensure quality of services and people?
Our clients can vouch for the fact that quality and trust outweigh all else at Samarth. We invest in recruiting people who demonstrate a combination of very high empathy and accountability. Only services and partners where the answer to the question “Is this good for our own parents” is affirmative, are offered to our clients.
Can I use Samarth’s services for the short term?
If your need is only for home care by a nurse or attendant for the short term, you can talk to us for a managed home care service where we will depute such staff at your home under our team’s supervision. For any other short‑term need, you can write to us with details and we will discuss how best we can help. While it is advisable to provision services for at least a year, it is possible to subscribe to our plans on a quarterly basis. We also offer a no‑questions‑asked refund policy so members can cancel the subscription and the unused amount is refunded.
What are third party services?
Samarth partners with specialist service providers to offer elderly care services, including healthcare professionals like doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, and attendants. For home maintenance, we work with reliable plumbers, electricians, and carpenters. The cost of these senior care services is covered by the customer at actual rates. Samarth organises these services with due diligence, ensuring the same level of care and attention a son or daughter would provide to their parents. If asked, our team can also supervise these elder home care services to maintain high standards.
How do you ensure safety when you arrange home care staff like attendants and nurses from a third party?
Samarth works with a network of selected partners such as Portea, Care24, Nightingale, HCAH, Apollo Home Care, etc. (depending on the need and our assessment of the agency’s strength) who we have evaluated and curated over years of experience. In addition to checking partner agencies’ processes, we check the identity and records of every individual caregiver and interact with them to ensure that they have the necessary qualifications (e.g. GNM or BSc for nurses or GDA for attendants) and security and medical checks from the agency before introducing to the family. We also facilitate police verification, at additional cost if required.
Do you care for elderly with dementia?
Yes, we do support the elderly who are in different stages of dementia and related conditions. Our team is sensitized in dealing with such cases. If needed, we can bring in specialists who can help the elderly and the families.
Can you help in relocating to a senior living facility?
If it becomes imperative for the elderly to relocate to an assisted or senior living facility, we can help the family evaluate and select living options. We do not have a facility of our own, but do track and review available options for our clients. In many cases we continue to support the family as their advocate and extended arm when the elderly is relocated to a senior living facility.
Can you arrange for services not listed here?
Yes, our mission is to provide elderly care services with the same dedication as sons and daughters. While this list highlights the most‑needed senior citizen services, we can arrange additional elder home care services, leveraging our resources and capabilities to meet any unique needs.
